Welcome to Maple Row Tax & Bookkeeping LLC. By accessing our website, using our services, or submitting your information to us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Services Provided
Maple Row Tax & Bookkeeping LLC offers remote tax preparation and bookkeeping services to individuals and businesses across the United States. All services are performed 100% online, and communication is facilitated via secure client portals, phone, or encrypted email.
2. Eligibility
To use our services, you must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. You agree that the information you provide is true, complete, and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Clients must not be located in or affiliated with any jurisdiction subject to U.S. sanctions or embargoes. Furthermore, clients affirm that they are lawfully authorized to share any third-party information, such as that of spouses, dependents, or employees, provided to us for the purpose of service delivery.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete financial and personal information
- Respond promptly to document or clarification requests
- Review all prepared tax documents prior to submission
- Notify us immediately of any changes in your personal or financial situation that could affect the accuracy or outcome of your tax return.
We are not liable for delays, penalties, or errors arising from incomplete, incorrect, or untimely information provided by the client. Clients are expected to retain copies of all submitted documents and final deliverables for a minimum of seven (7) years. We rely exclusively on the accuracy and completeness of the information provided by clients and are not obligated to verify its authenticity unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.
Clients are also responsible for ensuring that all drafts are reviewed and approved at least five (5) business days before any statutory deadline to avoid delays in filing.
The services provided do not include legal advice, audit representation, or financial planning unless separately agreed in writing. Clients are encouraged to consult with a licensed attorney or CPA where appropriate.
4. Confidentiality and Data Security
We prioritize the confidentiality of your data. All client information is stored in secure, encrypted, cloud-based environments and is accessible only to authorized professionals or individuals you have designated in writing.

5. Fees and Payment
Fees are disclosed and agreed upon before any services begin. Payment must be received in full prior to the submission of your final tax filings or the release of any completed deliverables.
We accept online payments in any currency. However, all charges are equivalent to the agreed-upon fee in U.S. dollars, and you are responsible for any currency conversion costs or discrepancies at the time of payment.
6. Refund Policy
Due to the customized nature of tax and bookkeeping services, all fees are non-refundable once work has begun. If you believe there has been an error or are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us within 7 business days of receiving your deliverables to discuss a resolution.
Refunds are not provided unless required under applicable consumer protection laws. In the event of a verified material error attributable solely to our negligence, we may, at our discretion, offer a partial refund or a corrective rework of the deliverable.
7. Respectful Conduct and Right to Refuse Service
We maintain a respectful and professional work environment. Harassment, verbal abuse, threats, or disrespectful behavior toward any staff member will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone who engages in such behavior, at our sole discretion, without a refund.
8. Future Contact
By engaging with our services, you consent to being contacted in future tax years for continued service offerings, deadline reminders, or relevant updates. You may opt out at any time by emailing us at support@maplerowtax.com with “OPT OUT” in the subject line.
9. Warranty Disclaimer
We make no representations, warranties or assurances regarding the uninterrupted availability of the Platform as it may be limited or unavailable due to factors beyond our control such as telecommunications, hardware or software failures.
10. Limitation of Liability
Maple Row Tax & Bookkeeping LLC shall not be held liable for any damages, fines, penalties, or legal actions resulting from:
- Errors in information supplied by the client
- Delays caused by third-party software or systems
- Client’s failure to review or approve documents in a timely manner
Our liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the services in question.
11. Third-Party Tools and Platforms
To provide services, we may use secure third-party tools (e.g., tax software, cloud storage, encrypted email). While we take reasonable steps to ensure these tools comply with legal and security standards, we are not responsible for breaches or service interruptions caused by these third-party providers.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms of Service periodically. Any updates will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising under or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the state of Texas.
14. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services provided shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with the location set in the state of Texas. Each party shall bear its own costs, and the arbitrator’s decision shall be final and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.
15. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government restrictions, network outages, labour disputes, or cyber incidents.
16. Circular 230 Disclosure
Any U.S. federal tax advice contained in this communication is not intended or written to be used, and may not be used, for the purpose of avoiding penalties under the Internal Revenue Code.
17. Independent Contractor
For all services that we provide, we shall be an independent contractor and not your employee, agent or partner and we will determine our methods, details and means of performing our services.
18. Indemnification
Clients agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Maple Row Tax & Bookkeeping LLC and its employees or affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from the client’s breach of these Terms or provision of inaccurate information.
