Frequently Asked Questions

What services do you offer?

We provide remote tax preparation and bookkeeping services for individuals and small businesses across the United States. Specifically, we prepare federal tax returns, handle amended and prior-year filings, and manage ongoing bookkeeping for business owners.

If you’re unsure which service fits your needs, book a free consultation and we’ll guide you through your options.

What is the difference between tax preparation and bookkeeping?

Tax preparation is typically a once-a-year service. During tax season, we prepare and electronically file your federal tax return with the IRS.

In contrast, bookkeeping is ongoing. We regularly track your income and expenses so your financial records stay organized year-round. As a result, tax season becomes much smoother and you gain clearer insight into your business performance.

Do I need to live in Texas to work with you?

No. While we operate from Texas, we prepare federal tax returns for clients in all 50 states. Therefore, you can work with us regardless of your location within the United States.

Can I work with you remotely?

Yes, you can. Although we are based in Texas, we serve clients nationwide. Because we operate remotely, you can securely upload documents through our encrypted client portal and communicate with us via phone, email, or video.

How does remote tax filing work?

Remote tax filing is simple. You securely upload your documents through our encrypted client portal, we review your information and schedule a brief intake call, and once complete, your return is electronically filed with the IRS after your approval and payment.

The entire process can be completed without visiting an office.

How do I get started?

Start by booking your tax preparation or bookkeeping service through our website. We’ll send you a secure consent form and a private upload link to submit your documents. After reviewing your information, we provide a quote and schedule a short intake call.

Where do you meet with clients?

Most clients meet with us virtually, which allows for secure, efficient service nationwide.
For clients located in Leon County, Texas, in-person meetings may be available by appointment during tax season.

Common documents include:

• W-2s and 1099s
